There is only one excuse that a savvy leader should use and that is "The dog ate my homework". I explain why in my three-part Guerilla Leadership series.
The Guerilla Leadership series is a three-part program that I develop to address the needs of the leaders of today and tomorrow who operate on a limited budget,. This series of programs certainly applies to student leaders while they are in college, and also to students who plan to take leadership positions in the non profit, small business, start up, grass roots, and other organizations outside of a large, well-funded, corporate environment after graduation. They can be program individually and out of sequence, if that is your preference.

Guerilla Leadership Pt. I- How to Become as Magnetic as a Rock Star
(This is first in the three part “The Dog Ate My Homework” series of leadership tips and strategies for students who plan to operate outside of well-funded corporate America.)Your students may have already learned that popularity contests do not end in high school. Every leader needs to know how to inspire and attract followers and this program will start them on the right path to effective leadership. This program educates students on how to identify their passions as well as how to attract passionate followers who will help them realize their goals to better society at large during and after their college years.
Guerilla Leadership Pt. II- Three P’s of Leadership: Passion, People, Planning
(This is the second in the three part “The Dog Ate My Homework” series of leadership tips and strategies for students who plan to operate outside of well-funded corporate America.) You are probably familiar with the saying: “people don’t plan to fail, they fail to plan”. Yet, even though most people have head this before, very few people find the time or pleasure in the planning stage. Yes, planning can be fun, if done with the right people and with passion. This program teaches students how to create a plan that will realize their passions as well as how to attract and identify the right team to get the job done.
Guerilla Leadership Pt. III- Exploration of New Media for Cost-effective Leadership On Campus & Beyond
(This is third in the three part “The Dog Ate My Homework” series of leadership tips and strategies for students who plan to operate outside of well-funded corporate America.) Limited funding is not a new challenge, nor is it likely to disappear before or after your students graduate. Did you know that many new media tools can help your students become more successful leaders in the non profit and grassroots arenas? Your students probably already use new media resources like Facebook and Myspace for social reasons, but do they know how to use them to become better leaders? This program will explore how today’s technology can enable student leaders to attract followers and maximize the resources available to them on campus and in the future.
